Auditions
The Broward Symphony is a volunteer orchestra associated with Broward College in Davie, Florida. The BSO rehearses on Thursday evenings and performs four concerts between the months of October and May. The Symphony can be taken as a class through Broward College for 1 credit hour. If you are a new member interested in auditioning, please e-mail the music director Terence Kirchgessner at tkirchge@broward.edu and list your instrument and whether you are a BC student taking it for credit. Due to group size restrictions, space is limited.
Audition Requirements
Applicants should submit a video via email (or link to a video) of two contrasting works (fast/slow) that represent your highest level of performance. Your selections should be no longer than 5 minutes in length.
You may be asked to audition in person at a later date. Space is currently limited due to COVID-19 safety protocols.
